“Face Recognition” Door Lock
December 11, 2009
There are people around who would think this technology as too much to get hands on or they wouldn’t be feeling need of it. But then there are people like me living in large metropolitans with a lot of problems and security being one of them. At least this time i would be sure that even if i am not home this door won’t open to a stranger and also if i don’t allow the door to open it won’t open to any one pretending to be someone else. This device was actually made for the corporate sector to help them get rid of dodges by their employees through punching card technology. If someone thinks that anyone with a photograph will be able to have an access, then gone are the old days of 2D, a three dimensional physical presence of a face would only unlock this thing.
Features of the device ( Model CVJB-G107 )
- Night Vision
- 3.5 inch TFT display screen
- USB & Ether port for TCP / IP connections
- Can register upto 500 faces
- Storage ability of 150,000 employees attendance records and can be programmed to allow or do not allow any of the recorded faces

A Device for Lightsleepers
November 19, 2009
Being a light sleeper myself I know how hard it is to get to sleep without a source of light to permanently think of. Finally a product has been made to serve people like us who want to have light to go to sleep. This is a small sized lamp that resides on a nightstand and emits soft light focused on your roof. The lamp switches itself off half an hour after you switch it off. A single charge of the battery can have a week of light for you. This device costs around $ 210 but will sure help you get to sleep with ease.
