A lot of talk has been made and finally we have got some clue for the notebook that will be launched by Google itself for its newly launched OS (Operating System) Google Chrome. Some of the specs that the Google’s own notebook will have are as follows

A lot of gossip behind the scene is that whether Google will be able to successfully launch it or not and if it will be able to do so than will it be able to deliver the performance about this machine.  Let us see if it would really be able to justify the price tag that it is promised to be available on.

In a recent interview with Digitimes Acer chairman JT Wang declared the company plans to to launch a Google Chrome OS running Notebook in second half of 2010. The time line for Chrome based OS notebooks is overlapping and the fierce competition will decide who is able to win “be the first” race in marketing and successfully launching a Chrome based Notebook. However if the wait seems unending, you can always Google the compatible version with your notebook to get a feel of it.

Google finally unveiled Google Chrome, its new operating system based on Google Chrome browser already running successfully. Google Chrome OS is intended to be a fast operating system with a minimal boot time of only 7 seconds. This version is said to be launched for notebooks only and is approximated to  be available in late 2010. Further it won’t be available as a download and install software instead it would only be shipped on particular hardware for certain specified manufacturers only. The name of the manufacturers however is yet to be disclosed. All the applications will be run online through web only, without any need for installation of apps or active update management of software. The data will be stored in cloud, and there is said to be no need of antivirus as Google has taken the responsibility to monitor all the activity tempering with code or having other malicious intents. Google has also said that it will make public all the documentation regarding Google Chrome OS. Let’s see how this shift of OS to a totally web managed system will work out in the future and how will it effect our lives in terms of working and what has it got in store for us “the users”.
