Nokia entered into the notebook making business after having a long standing position in cell phone making. Nokia 3G is taken well into the market in terms of its comfortable use. Nokia has worked hard on battery and design. Critics have shown reservations on some obvious misses like a slow hard drive of 4,200 revolutions per minute and only 1 GB of RAM with a very high price tag of $ 600.

Nokia N900 unveiling

Long awaited top of the line Nokia N900 is about to get unrolled to some of its pre-order customers. The tough competitions in the market and high expectations from the phone have made it a real nail biter for Nokia fans. The Maemo 5 based device will be first shipped to Middle-Ease, Russia and North America. Although the phone is said to be incompatible with 3G SIM cards of UK, Sweden, Australia, Ireland & Denmark until a new software release.
Nokia X6 paving the way!

Nokia X6 has been testing the patience of those to whom it was inaccessible and they also had to avoid other phones to get their hands on their favorite brand phone. Nokia seems to be shipping these phones in the not too distant future. UK’s customers will have their Nokia X6 around November 12th, 2009. Price tag of the phone has though dampened many hopes as this baby carries a tag of £529.99 ($891).
Nokia Introduces 5 New Phones

Nokia has shown its determination to be a major player in low end cell phone market as stiff competition has made it difficult for mobile phones to have a significant chunk of the market. The factor price of these phones without local taxes & duties ranges from 20 Euros to 54 Euros. Nokia has also stated that these new phones have a battery standby of 22 days and would specially help people living in rural areas without electricity. The expensive models introduced by Nokia include Nokia 2960 and Nokia Ovi Mail priced 45 euros and 54 euros respectively. Nokia is also going to introduce a service for better information access in Indonesia already running in India.
