Acer – Travel Mate Unleashed!

Acer has always been up front in introducing newer and better models. This time it has introduced its travel mate series. Currently this series has got 3 models. 8371, 8471, and 8571. They are ranged between a price tag of $ 900 to $ 1000. Critics review it as a reliable and sleek series with long battery time. The screen sizes also vary and come in three sizes i.e., 13.3, 14.1, and 15.6 inches with finger print readers, core 2 duo processors, finger print readers and windows 7 operating system. Each notebook is also provided with a windows XP cd for anyone sticking to old windows os.

A new little web book with the name of “little” has entered the market as portability is a lot in. The device is said to be well poised in terms of integrating with internet, other users, and also reported be handy in collecting data from our favorite sites. The new little book is very sleek and runs on ubuntu. The web book can also be turned outwards into an easel for photo and other displays when not in use as a laptop. The price tag for this little web book is not little and is said to be around $ 699. Whether this little book is able to grab the big market while competing with other devices, still remains to be seen, the main feature which its manufacturer are confident about to fetch price of is its simplicity and easy maintenance.
